Daryl is Founder and Managing Partner of Silver Ridge Advisors (SRA), a management consulting firm established in 2008 to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, with consultants who bring significant operating experience and a focus on delivering results. He advises CEOs, senior executives, boards and investment professionals on complex growth, transformation, innovation and performance challenges, combining more than 30 years of experience in strategy consulting, leadership, investing and entrepreneurship.
Daryl's experience spans customer-driven growth and transformation, business and product innovation, organizational and operating model design, performance improvement, transaction diligence, and complex workplace and technology projects. His work crosses industries including financial services, technology, consumer and retail, industrials, healthcare, sports, media and entertainment, and education. He is known for working directly with senior leaders and assembling highly experienced teams to address their most consequential challenges, from developing strategy to implementing change programs and delivering results.
Prior to SRA, Daryl held senior positions across consulting, operations and investing. At Lehman Brothers, he was Senior Vice President, Investment Management, where he led strategic acquisitions, minority investments and new business initiatives. He was previously a Principal at Accellerus Capital and FrontLine Capital, investing in growth companies across financial services, business services and technology, and working with their operating teams to drive growth.
Daryl was also Vice President and Global Head of Marketing at Citigroup Alternative Investments, leading global product development, marketing, investor relations and sales, and a Director in American Express's Strategic Planning Group (SPG), focused on new businesses and strategic growth initiatives. He began his consulting career at Corporate Decisions, Inc. (CDI), now Oliver Wyman.
Daryl holds an M.B.A. from Yale University and an A.B. in International Relations and History from Brown University (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude). He is the author of Management Consulting: A Complete Guide to the Industry (Wiley).
